Lipstick hippy

To look at me one might not suspect..I'm a closet girly girl. Underneath my junky jeans and rubber galoshes is a fashionista who won't keep quiet. Long ago I tried to quit her but she is relentless, convincing me to draw pictures of pouty women striking poses for no particular reason. So i'm at it again...

Humble pie

~Welcome in one and all! I resently received a smack upside my head concerning my verbage...I must admit I deserved it. I used some some negative words concerning my work. It truly was in "jest" Forgive me fellow artists and fashion enthusiasts I meant no disrespect. I suppose it is a great reminder to how words have power. I am honored by your pressence here. Sometimes a good beating is just that..good.

I have been drawing my whole life. It is the one thing that brings me "bliss." I love to draw the human form and the way it moves. Way back when.. my nose was often found in fashion magazines studying the '"Great masters" of Fashion illustration. I clipped drawings and tore out photographs to work from. In the begining my drawings were awfull but I kept at it (I really couldn't help myself.)

I went on to study my passion at Columbus College of Art and Design

Many twists and turns ups and downs highs and lows in my art career lead me to putting my fashionista ways in my back pocket. I pursued other forms of art which I enjoyed emensly. Only to "pull it out" every now and again to have another go and tuly enjoy myself.

As of late, I am at it again....
